River Oaks Hospital, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children.

River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented ADMISSIONS & REFERRAL / INTAKECOUNSELOR to contribute to the provision of quality and appropriate crisis intervention and referral services, schedules, and coordinates assessments, processes admissions while ensuring all services are administered within hospital standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

• Master's degree (must be Psychology or a related field) required;
• Crisis intervention training requried; experience on a Crisis Line or psychiatric setting preferred;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone;
• Ability to set priorities
• Provide service to all populations while demonstrating the Service Excellence Standards
